Themed weddings - latest trend for 2008!
Themed Weddings seem to be the latest trend. Brides UK(Sept/Oct 08) magazine report that the inspiration for these Weddings come straight from the example of celebrities. It is thought that Beyoncé and JayZ kick started the trend when they opted for an all white colour scheme with a lavish 50,000 white orchids. All of their guests were to adhere to a white dress code.
Coleen and Wayne Rooney chose a butterfly theme with lots of white flowers for a natural feel to their day whilst Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz opted for black and red in an Alice in Wonderland theme for their Wedding Day! Their bridesmaids and guests were asked to dress in black!
UK Brides magazine predicts that the colour trend for 2009 is a dove grey palette with pale pink. Get your mood boards out!!
